Things to Do
Breweries, theaters, museums...oh my!
Come and experience the culture in and around Redding. Pick your poison: from Fall River Brewing Co.’s first-place finish in the 2021 Great American Beer Festival for their Sherbet Drip Beer to Theory Coffee Roasters Ethiopia Keramo claiming gold in the Espresso Category of the 2018 Golden Bean North America Coffee Roasting competition, there’s no shortage of award-winning beverages in Redding. In addition, manicured gardens, lawn concerts, and our iconic Sundial Bridge are just a few of the postcard-perfect attractions that await.
Sundial Bridge
The glass-decked suspension bridge spanning the Sacramento River is one of the world’s largest working sundials. It’s environmentally conscious, jiving with the local ecosystem, and stands as Redding’s most iconic landmark.

They say go hard or go home. Luckily, we can do both and teach you how as well. Redding is home to a plethora of trails. Whether you want to tackle them on a mountain bike, ATV, 4×4, by horse, or by foot, we’ve got you covered. Redding Trail Alliance does an amazing job at making mountainsides into works of art. If steak is your thing, just pick a restaurant and it’s on the menu. We recommend Jack’s as it has been around since 1935.
