Sundial Splash

The Sundial Splash is a family fun community river float, with a race, designed to focus on the heart of our community: The Sacramento River. This event is hosted by the Enterprise Lions Club in partnership with Headwaters Adventure Company.

Join the Paddle Sport Community for a massive public float down the Sacramento River through the City of Redding. This event is open to citizens at every level of paddle ability. This moving water paddle event is open to all paddle sport enthusiasts in kayaks, canoes, surfskis, standup paddleboards, outriggers, prone paddleboards, drift boats, river rafts, (NO SWIMMING POOL RAFTS!) 

In fact, if you have never paddled the river, this is your day. Begin your trip at Riverfront Park listening to a sunrise concert. After your journey, treat yourself to lunch at South Bonnyview’s Reginato River Access. You can leave your equipment safely under the watchful eyes of the Lions Club while you enjoy return transportation to the beginning of the event to retrieve your vehicle.
