Shasta College Theatre Presents “Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia”

A hilarious romp from a recently departed giant of the English theatre is on at Shasta College this Fall!

In Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia, a tragicomedy that explores the chaos and humor of romantic attraction alongside the existential question of free will versus fate. Set in a time very close to our own, the play depicts a group of scholars struggling to decipher a historical puzzle involving a hermit, a poet, and a scandalous affair. What follows is a complex, life-affirming comedy from one of the all-time great playwrights.

This production is suitable for older students, particularly high schoolers, as well as adults.
