International Vulture Awareness Day

Vultures play a crucial role in the health of humans and the planet as a whole. Without vultures, disease would be out of control. This has been the case in many countries who are experiencing the Great Vulture Crisis.  The International Vulture Awareness Day was created in 2006 to bring about awareness and appreciation for these vital birds and bring attention to the incredible conservation work being done worldwide to save and protect the many species close to extinction. Join us for this 15 minute program that will highlight our vultures found in the United States and get up close and personal with Turtle Bay’s ambassador vultures.
