Based on the remarkable true events of September 11, 2001, Come From Away tells the story of 7,000 airline passengers who were unexpectedly stranded in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, when U.S. airspace was closed. As people from around the world suddenly found themselves far from home, the residents of Gander opened their hearts, homes, and community to complete strangers. Through kindness, humor, and resilience, both the townspeople and the "come from aways" discover the power of human connection during a time of uncertainty.
