Clikapudi Trail Field Trip

at Clikapudi Creek

organized by: Shasta Chapter of the California Native Plant Society

This trail along the Pit River Arm of Shasta Lake has a very high diversity of plants to observe, from rare to common. Clikapudi Trail is a loop trail of ~7.5 miles, considered moderate to difficult primarily due to its length. We will provide a plant list and identify plants on the walk led by David Ledger. Bring plenty of water, lunch, hat, and wear closed-toe shoes. No dogs, please. Heavy rain cancels, but for intermittent sprinkles or drizzle, bring an umbrella. Limited to 15 participants.

For more information and to reserve a space, email [email protected]. All participants must sign the CNPS 2026 waiver
