America’s Poet Carl Sandburg

Join orator Max Walter at Horsetown's outdoor amphitheater for a tribute to the writer/poet, Carl Sandburg. In addition to sharing Sandburg’s inspiring American story, Max will recite poetry, share several of Sandburg’s children’s stories (known as the Rootabaga Stories), and play folk song selections from the poet’s American Songbag.
