Prepare for an unforgettable weekend of Whiskeytown bike camping!

This self-supported overnight adventure will take you on a 55-mile journey with 5,460 feet of elevation gain, traversing a mix of 75% dirt and 25% paved roads.

We’ll start our ride at Redding Adventure Hub, which will be hosting us at 9:30 am for any last-minute bike needs.

After a quick riders meeting at 10 am sharp, we’ll roll out and let time slip away as we pedal towards Whiskeytown Lake, where we’ll set up camp along a stunning creek.

Day two will feature a significant portion of flowy narrow singletrack, so we recommend equipping your gravel bike with the widest tires possible.

As this is a self-supported trip, please bring your own food, sleep system, water filter, and a trowel for burying waste.

No registration or fees are required, and while there’s no sag support, we’ll ensure that everyone stays together and no one is left behind or stranded. Helmets are mandatory for all participants.

Remember, these rides are about enjoying the company and the journey, not racing to the top of the climbs or setting Strava records. The best conversations and memories are made at the back of the pack.

Be sure to download the route before the trip, as cell service can be spotty in the area.

If you have any questions or need advice, feel free to reach out to us via DM. We can’t wait to share this incredible experience with you!
