You’re invited to the launch party for Shasta Historical Society’s newest exhibit, Tattooed & Tenacious: Inked Women in California History!

Join us on Friday, September 29th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Shasta Historical Society Museum to celebrate the opening of this groundbreaking exhibit.

This exhibit will explore the rich and surprising history of women and tattoos in California, from the earliest Native American practices to the present day. Visitors will discover the stories of women who have used tattoos to express themselves, to challenge social norms, and to build community.

At the launch party, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Tour the exhibit before it opens to the public
• Meet the curators and learn more about the exhibit
• Enjoy food and drinks
• Mingle with other people who are interested in the history of tattoos and women
