North Valley Art League’s North State Juried Painting Show opens Friday, March 5 from 5:00 to 7:00. Juror David Lobenberg will select 90 paintings from submissions by North State artists for display in the month of May. David Lobenberg is well known for his high level of excellence in figurative/landscape water color and acrylic painting and is recognized by artists and collectors nationwide. He holds a MFA from UCLA and is an adjunct professor at Sacramento City College. Awards will be announced at the Opening Reception on Friday, May 5. Gallery hours are Wednesdays- Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
