
HERBAL MEDICINE FOR MANAGING STRESS BY: MEGAN GROVER FROM LADY ADAPTOGEN
Participants will walk away from this class having a better understanding of how to listen to their bodies, how stress impacts their person and how various herbs can help manage the stress response. The class will begin with a tea ceremony, followed by instruction regarding specific herbs for stress and some medicine making tips. Participants will leave with a several herbal monographs, a tea blend, a tincture and an oxymel.
Megan is an avid lover of nutrition and herbs. She has her masters of medical science in human nutrition from the University of Sheffield in England and has since then worked with clients, taught many classes and has now worked as a professor of anatomy, physiology and nutrition for the past two years. Megan has also studied herbal medicine from Herbalism Roots in Denver, Colorado as herbs are something that have brought her a lot of personal healing and growth. She is excited to share her love and passion with the community of Redding.
