Experience a new downtown Redding on First Fridays this September!

The new downtown side streets are open and the fences are down!  Viva Downtown – along with downtown businesses and stakeholders – invites the community to First Fridays on September 1, 2023.

There will be street vendors and farmers, live street music, a beer & wine garden featuring future Redding Public Market tenants Fall River Brewing Company and New Clairvaux Vineyards, family-friendly activities, AND a variety of activities and events inside downtown businesses who will be open late to welcome you.

Come on down to sip, eat, and shop your way around and see all that your downtown has to offer!

Street parking is free after 6pm. Shaded and secure garage parking is available at California & Tehama Street for $1/hr.
