Experience High-Octane Fun and Honor Our Heroes at Big Bike Weekend

This year’s event will include:

• Strongman Competition – Misfits and Mayhem
• Remembrance Ride honoring fallen first responders and veterans
• Poker Chip Run (includes a stop at the Veterans Cemetery where all registrants will have a coin to place on a headstone of a service member or veteran is a show of respect and honor, as well as letting the deceased service member’s family know someone was there)
• Bike Show
• Exhibits, vendors, opportunity drawings, auction, food trucks and more.

Supports:

Nation’s Finest who celebrated its 50th year of service to veterans and their families in 2022. Services they provide include: assistance with rent and utilities, payment of security deposit and first few months’ rent if they are homeless, agency referrals to help with general housing needs, and a transitional living home for veterans in recovery and if they cannot afford the rent.

Redding Fire Department is planning the construction of a memorial at RFD Fire Station 8, located at the north end of Churn Creek Road near College View Drive. This memorial will honor the members of the RFD who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, as well as recognize those who have served and honorably retired from RFD.

Big Bike Weekend is presented by the American Motorcyclist Association.
