Description:
Welcome to our neck of the woods. Land of one million acres of ancient fir forests, a thousand mountains, six rivers, and one Bigfoot.
Bigfoot Rafting has been running North Coast rivers for several decades and is often referred to as the "Big Fish" of California North Coast whitewater rafting. It's no fish story, really. We conduct more guided river trips and rent more whitewater equipment than anyone. Bigfoot Rafting is the largest and most experienced river outfitter operating in the Klamath-Trinity region. Impressive facts. However, the main reason people enjoy going with Bigfoot Rafting is due to our reliability, commitment to details, quality equipment and competitive prices. Our guides are with us year after year and are superb chefs, master boat captains, and know and understand local lore and history better than anyone. All this plus our outstanding safety record and our genuine friendliness are the best reasons for choosing Bigfoot Rafting. If you would like to learn more about our company or region please feel free to contact us and let us introduce you to a land not yet totally civilized or discovered.
Bigfoot Rafting Company's home is located on the banks of the Trinity River in a speck of a town called Willow Creek. We are in far Northwestern California in the middle of the Six Rivers National Forest. Our newest outpost is located on the river in Big Flat in the Shasta Trinity National Forest. Highway 299 is our access to the outside world. Within an hour's drive also flows the Klamath, Cal-Salmon and Smith Rivers.
Bigfoot Rafting Company's guides and support crew are the heart of the outfit. These fun loving mature professionals will give the extra effort to ensure you a quality experience that you may very well remember the rest of your life. Our guides are certified in First Aid/CPR and Swiftwater Rescue III. Please follow their guidelines. If you particularly enjoyed your trip please feel free to reward them with a gratuity.
